What is quality content?
#31
In the inbound marketing world, we often say, "content is king," but really, quality content is king.

Quality content is evergreen; it stands the test of time and keeps people coming back for more.

Of course, what is considered quality may be subjective to you and your audience -- but there are some general guidelines that every blog should follow and we are going to cover all of them.

Quality content is the content your readers find useful, and they want to share it to their friends.

We've all heard that content is king and that you need to write high-quality content, or now “10x content,” as coined by Rand Fishkin. Ask SEOs what “quality content” is and you'll receive a lot of varied and opinionated answers. Quality is subjective, and each person views it differently

Some of the points are listed as follows:

– Create content for users and not for search engines to find.
– Use facts and accurate information. Misleading information or half done research can only lower your content’s value.
– Keep your focus entirely on the end user and how your content can help them gain better information.
– The best point is how your content is unique and what makes it engaging. Repeating what other blogs are posting will only make your redundant.
– Ensure that you continuously update your content on the website and to remove or prevent user generated spamming.
Although keeping your content unique and informative does not necessarily qualify as quality content, but it definitely makes it come closer to being one.
