Updated: Please make sure you upgrade your Google Play Services to version 8.3.01

Hi Tegan,

Thanks for posting in the Google Play forum! To get your device working again, you will need to uninstall and reinstall updates to Google Play services. Google recognize that these steps can be challenging, so you can also have a member of our team call you and walk your through the steps by filling out this form and an agent will call you back.

If you feel comfortable troubleshooting on your own, I have included the steps below: Please note that these steps may cause various Google services to not function properly until you update Google Play services again via the Play Store app.

Select Security > Device administrators - depending on the device, the path may be slightly different. In some devices, this is under Lock screen and security > Other security settings > Device administrators OR General > Security > Phone > Device administrators

Open the Settings App

Deactivate Android Device Manager

In the Device administrators screen, look for Android Device Manager, with a checkbox next to it. If that entry exists, and the checkbox is checked, uncheck it (if not, skip to #3).

You will be taken to a screen with details for Android Device Manager. Click the Deactivate button at the bottom of the screen. This should bring you back to the Device administrators window, and the Android Device Managercheckbox should now be unchecked.

On the Device administrators screen, you may also see an entry for Android Pay, with a checkbox next to it. If that entry exists, and the checkbox is checked, uncheck it (if not, skip toUninstall Google Play Services Update).

You will be taken to a screen with details for Android Pay. Click the Deactivate button at the bottom of the screen. This should bring you back to the Device administrators window, and the Android Pay checkbox should now be unchecked.

Uninstall Google Play services update (fyi: if the customer can't complete this step, tell the customer to either wait until they receive a prompt or reboot their phone in a few hours and try again.)

Return to the Settings screen by hitting the “back” button twice

Select the Apps or Applications > All > Google Play services

Select Uninstall Updates

If you use an app that requires the latest Google Play services, you’ll get an update prompt and the update may immediately be reinstalled.

Enable Android Device Manager

Return to the Device administrators screen from #1. Make sure the checkbox next to Android Device Manager is checked. You will be taken to the screen with details for Android Device Manager.

Select Activate at the bottom of the screen. This should bring you back to the Device administrators window, and the Android Device Manager checkbox should now be checked

If you need any help, you can contact Google Play Support at http://www.support.google.com/play.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,

Amanda

I don't think that the situation is the same now! It has changed. Do you feel comfortable using that option? See http://www.custom-written-papers.org/blog/free-example-essays.html if any writing help is required!

The increasing importance of Google page rank triggered almost an obsession amongst a majority of Webmasters and SEO experts. This resulted in black practices such as selling links and demanding more money for getting links from a blog or site having a higher Page Rank (PR). Obviously, this is something that Google never supports. Further, because of time gap between the two updates, there is also a mismatch between the Google generated and the publicly available PR.
